  1. @Jeneaux um, please do some research before you speak about Stanislaus nursing program being "poorly rank" because we have a 95-100% NCLEX pass rate. Like what @mishabc said, you are not up to date with the current statistics so I suggest start looking it up, I mean its 2015. Thank you :)
  2. Hi Nancy! Glad you found us & our stanislaus nursing chat box lol! Yeaaa, hope to see everyone soon! And have a good holiday vacay too!
  3. Oh wow, that's some good things to hear! Thank you and hopefully I won't loss half my hair the first semester. Glad to know that it's doable ?
  4. I'm with you Misha! I'm more excited now ? & also I was confused about the scheduling but it makes sense now, kinda lol. @BertG How was the stress level of your first semester? Was it manageable? I see that you're from Oakland! Like what do you commute from there to Turlock?
  5. @BertG Congratulations for tackling down your first semester! That sounds so exciting! And thank you for offering your help! Will definitely ask you questions about the first sem of nursing school, just wait on it haha. I wish you a good winter break, enjoy it you deserve it! & good luck on your second semester next sem!
  6. @Misha Hey! I'm excited for the holiday season but I'm more excited to start nursing school next sem but kind of nervous at the same time haha. Also, I'm going to SNA boot camp and looking forward to seeing my fellow nursing cohort!!! ? I guess we'll just hold on to making the FB page until we go to boot camp. Oh, btw I haven't done the profile to do list yet ? been slackin' with that but I'll definitely start doing it this winter break. Have you started it yet?
  7. Hey abraham! Sorry for the late reply, I did read your message and I appreciate your input! It's a test that I have to take during the first week of the semester and there's no syllabus for it. But I will go to that website you posted above. Thank you for the advice! I am a visual and auditory learner, so yes writing it down using flash cards will help.
  8. Hi AllNurses peeps! I'm excited to say that I got admitted into my schools BSN nursing program and I start this coming Spring of 2015 According to the email, we'll be tested on basic medical terminology the first week of school I guess my questions are: -Is the test going to be hard? Should I panic? -Should I study the book from cover to cover? How should I study it? -Which Med. Terminology book would you guys recommend? or are they all the same? -Did you have to do this in your school? I know I might've asked too much questions but I need your help oh and my school actually offer a Med. Term. course over the winter intersession, but it cost about 650$ that's just too much. Thank you!!

  10. ah yes it would be nice to get it over with already! But how much is it on other places?
  11. Hey Misha! A friend of mine told me that the nursing instructors offer the CPR/BLS during the orientation for only $10. I will ask again to make sure
  12. I would suggest you make a whole new page for it, because you don't wanna get mixed up with your own page and the group lol
  13. I was thinking "CSU Stan Nursing Students Spring 2015" or "CSU Stan Nursing Class of 2018" But you can modify it if you want :)
  14. @Jen Omg that sounds so exciting! You're almost there! Congrats to you! Thank you and we'll take the good advice :)
  15. I agree that #4 is an awesome alternate list spot! Let us know when you get it!
