  3. Hello, i will be starting the nursing program in the spring. I have 2 children, one will be 8 months old when I start. I know nursing school is time consuming, I'm curious how many hours are involved per day. I assumed it was a m-f 8am-5pm situation, plus study time. I'm also looking to hear from moms of young children who have made it through the program. I feel like I'm going to miss out on an important time for my son. Unfortunately the timing is bad, but I don't have a choice but to get it done while he's a baby. I'm also breast feeding, I'm not sure if I'll be able to maintain that while going to school. Any words of encouragement or what to expect would be so helpful?
