  1. I think your odds are still pretty good, it just may take longer to get that consistent pattern that NCLEX is looking for. So you might not pass immediately at 75 or maybe you will. Either way don't sweat it. I take nclex in 4 days so I feel your pain. I started preparing for nclex seriously about 2 weeks (technically 3 weeks but the 1st week was me being lazy). When I first started i was getting 49-53% now I'm consistently 60%+ wrapping up this 2nd serious week. The only thing I've done differently was write out the rationale for EVERY QUESTION that either I got wrong or got right and wasn't sure of. Well also the ones I saw frequently just for repetition. Also I checked my patterns to see where i was getting a lot wrong and inserted a mini break. So I do the first 30-(bathroom/water break)-next 20-(1 minute break)-next 15-last 10. I'm fairly confident but I don't think the nerves will go away until I sit down on test day. And know your psych meds by class and endings! I'm not as scared of pharm anymore after that.
  2. Hello I'm new to this site. I wanted to know any tips on thriving in nursing school. I had to transfer from my 4-year program and start over at a two year program because of financial reasons. Long story short my parents wanted me to work and go to school in order to pay my own car insurance and a portion of my tuition. Reasonable, but my grades suffered because I worked 5 days a week. However, the first time around I never really set any goals for myself. I was fine with barely passing. I hardly got by fundamentals with a 78 which was the passing minimum. I'm quite the underachiever. But this time around I wanted to aim for the top of my class. Does anybody have any studying tips for fundamentals or tips in general to do so. I have a month before classes start. Also any websites of links for Fundamentals questions would be greatly appreciated :)
