Do you know how long it takes? I did my fingerprints June 10 and still have not received anything from them.

For those of you who are still waiting hang in there.. one never knows! stay positive! I was rejected last year on another program and it all worked out for the better! Congrats to all of you who got in!! I got accepted into the accelerated program for fall. I started all the requirements on complio but have a question how do i know if they received my background check and fingerprints? I payed and did all the steps but now have no idea what to upload to complio.

I also applied for the accelerated fall 2015. I cannot wait to hear back from them. Does anyone know the accum. gpa and prereq. gpa average of those who have been accepted in previous semesters? I wonder what is considered competitive.

Hi I'm looking for people who are applying into the accelerated program fall 2015. I see that in the website it says that overall cumulative GPA is 40% of acceptance and prereqs 60%.. My prereq GPA is really good but the gpa from my bachelors is 3.1 im worried about that..Any one been to an advisor and asked average of people accepted last semester or what is considered a competitive GPA?

That is exactly what I was thinking this afternoon because if interviews are the 25th letting us know the by 4th seems early. Im anxious eating probably gained 4 pounds so far!!

Hello everyone!! I have a question regarding the dreaded NursingCas. I submitted my application before deadline and all transcripts show received on NursingCas transcripts tab but when I click on GPA it shows nothing. Is anyone's showing any GPA's yet? I'm really anxious and wondering when we will start to hear back from FAU. How will they communicate with us? Through our personal email?

I would still apply.. You have got nothing to loose other than your sanity hehehe!! Maybe because is a transitional period the applicant pool is smaller and/or less competitive. Try and stay positive. If we do not get accepted then moving on.. There would be many more accelerated programs available starting summer 2015. One never knows..you might be what they are looking for :)

If you are interested in the accelerated BSN most schools begin summer term and begin taking applications in january..FAU is one of the only ones that begin January also take into account that if you have a Bachelors already many schools will only allow you to apply to their Accelerated program. The most important is to read and re-read all the instructions online for each program and if possible give them a visit! :)

Thanks Amandinator makes me feel more at ease.. I'm curious to know what FAU considers a competitive TEAS score? I took mine two days ago and ranked 85% with a score of 77. Not really happy about score. I did great in reading and science but absolutely bombed math so bad I wont say what I got!! My prereq science GPA is so far 3.8. Just missing my final grade for AP2 which will get in the next couple of weeks (hoping its an A). I got all my eggs in one basket (FAU) and im nervous!! Any info is welcomed and appreciated!!

Hi everyone!! I am applying to the ABSN spring term. A little nervous with timing specially TCAS transcripts. Online they recommend to allow 5-7 weeks for processing and Ive been out of state and unable to get the TCAS transcript request paper to the transcript offices of FIU (where i got my BA). Will be flying this Friday the 1st back to florida to take care of that..Do any of y'all have an idea of how long it took your transcripts to show in CAS?? Thanks a ton!!
