Needlestick injury
I am really upset and worried because I had a needlestick injury this morning while taking blood. The patient suddenly jerked his arm while blood is flowing to the collection set and the needle pricked my left thumb (under the fingernail). I felt it so bad. I didnt see any blood and washed it. But then there was blood under the fingernail. Also, the charge nurse blamed me instead! She told me "That's why you got the needlestick because you rush!" When in fact she's always the one who gets nervous and finishes late. What the heck. I felt so offended. It's like blaming a rape victim that she got raped! I am so mad. I was shocked! And she said it in the nurses station when the doctors and the other nurses were coming in. Huhu still waiting for the results. The patient hasnt been tested before.

What to do while waiting for nclex eligibility in New York
Hi everyone! I have submitted my nclex nurse form 1 and cgfns cvs stuff. I know that it's going to be a waiting game from here on. I've been reading and working part time. But, I'm getting sad and impatient day by day. I want to get my New york license and work as a Registered Nurse asap. I'm alone here in NY. And I'm not happy with my part time job. I'm financially and emotionally supporting myself. It's been tough. (Sorry for the drama...) anyway, do you have any suggestions as to what better jobs are available in NY? And what to do while waiting for my nclex eligibility? Thank you. ps: I'm a Permanent Resident (via family-based petition, parents are in California. Not close with them).

CGFNS contact
But @ USPS, it still says "available for pick-up". Does that mean they didn't check their PO Box yet?

CGFNS contact
Hello. It's been a week since I've mailed my documents to cgfns. However, the status (online) is "waiting for required items". I'm just worried if they received my docs already. USPS status is still "available for pick-up". I called CGFNS but I can't connect to the #2:Application status for CVS new york. Their hotline is crazy. Repeating the options but not connecting me. They don't have an email add as well. I just want to tell them to pick-up the mail at the Post office. It's been there for days already. Pls help. Is there any other way to contact them? Thanks.
