  1. What NP program are you finishing? Are you in the airforce or another branch? What rank will you be starting at when you graduate? I am starting Rutgers DNP PMHNP in the fall and would love any information you could provide.
  2. Hi MunkiRN, how was your experience with the HSPS program? I was recently accepted by the Airforce to receive the HSPS scholarship and I am starting the Rutgers DNP PMHNP program this September. Can you provide me with information about things you wish someone would have told you, or about your experience in general.
  3. I was selected for the airforce PMHNP scholarship program in late may. I am currently a student at Drexel University, but switching to Rutgers DNP Program in the fall and the airforce is going to cover the tab☺ Super excited. Any one else recently selected for a NP position or scholarship with info about what to expect next?
  4. Congrats dro-c and RNKP1310!! orientation is July 22, will you both be there or is this just for the PMHNP PROGRAM? JC0518, I submitted two APA formatted papers from my current NP program. As long as your papers are APA formatted you will be find.
  5. Three reasons: cost, time, and curriculum. Rutgers BSN to DNP program is 77 credits. Drexel does not have such a program so one would have to complete both degrees separately as you suggest. At Drexel, this would mean completing 52 credits for your MSN and 46 for your DNP (98 total). Also Rutgers has a serious psychiatric focus, if you download and compare the two curriculums it will stand out like a sore thumb.
  6. I really wish the best for you both. I am currently in Drexel's PMHNP program which is does not offer the DNP. I am currently trying to get a course layout for Rutgers that shows what classes are online and which I have to drive to Newark for😩
  7. called the Admissions director and just found out I'm Accepted to the Fall 2015 BSN to DNP PMHNP program!!!!!!! Call him now and let me know who will be joining me on this Amazing journey.
  8. Ok just sent it and it went through
  9. Ok cool, yeah I had to get use to that as well.
  10. I'll update you, Just started Drexel's PMHNP program 9/22. Taking advance pharm and advance patho. So far patho is cellular biology and pharm is all over the place. Drexel also has a course specific advance pharm which is geared to your specialty. Pretty cool
  11. Ok will do, did you set up your email yet? My email is [email protected]
  12. Hi all! So I'm taking 500, and 549 this fall but I'm all for study groups. I plan on using Drexel's facilities alot which might be difficult for most do to schedule and location. I will send both of you my email so we can connect. Great start I must say!
  13. Books are always good any for sale? How have you been preparing for the licensing exam? How long have you been in the program? Does Drexel have a practice licensing exam simulation test? I received my BSN from Thomas Jefferson University and we had one at the end of every semester. Extremely helpful. Pantoinette4 I will be taking two classes this fall one in the winter and hopefully three in the spring.
  14. Will definitely keep you posted flpsych, Pantoinette4 you have a interesting educational background are you pursuing a career in Academia? My goal is to practice for a couple years first then teach at the University level. I also have adv pharm 1st semester.
  15. Hi Pantoinette4, I live in NJ and I am still getting my schedule togather. I was accepted as a part time student and I'm not sure if I should take 2 or 3 classes. I work full time so I want to get a feel for the course load before I pick up a full time schedule. What do you think? Are you full time or part time?
