  1. I was dismissed from a BSN program my Junior year in 2011. It was heartbreaking and terrifying considering I took out so many loans to pay for the program. I didn't submit an appeal because I didn't think they would give me another shot. I signed up for a Phlebotomy/EKG program and was hired as a PCT for a NYC hospital. After three years, I decided to try nursing school again because it was all I could think about. I had to retake my sciences that "expired" and I am now in an AAS nursing program. I chose to go for an associates degree first because I feel I need to take things slower this time. I currently have a 4.0GPA and a better grasp of what is expected from me. I feel where you're coming from and hope you find a route that works for you!
  2. I work as a PCT in the city and took my Phlebotomy/EKG Technician national certification exam with MedCa in 2014. I'm not sure if my hospital really cared or not if I have the national certification but I renew it every year anyway. Good Luck!
  3. I met w my advisor today, she said it usually takes about a month and to consider that the nursing department is catching up with work because of spring break.
  4. I just emailed the proctor to see if she knows when we will hear from them. She said we have to wait for the nursing department to be ready.
  5. I'm pretty much losing my mind checking my email every hour waiting for an answer. Registration started yesterday too
  6. i know right. It all depends on how everyone else scores😵
  7. Thanks guys! I'm still on edge until we hear something back from the nursing department. The nursing seminar made it sound very competitive:bag: I hope we all get good news:)
  8. I agree. I read on some forums that the actual test was easier than the practice tests, but that was totally not the case. Hope to hear some positive news!
  9. Hopefully the range in overall scores is not too high! I bought the practice tests online and studied the manual for three weeks. The actual test was especially hard. I couldn't believe it had so many off topic questions Do you know when they will be sending acceptance/rejection letters?
