  1. You can always call the office and ask...
  2. I'm in the full time program. I have lecture and lab on Mondays, 9-4:30, Tuesday lab and lecture, 8-1:90, Wednesday are clinical a which is about 6/7 hrs, and Thursday just lecture, 9-12 pm......you do get breaks lol between lab and lecture
  3. Nope. You do well on one test or the other. No mixing and matching. The test is not hard if you study well.
  4. Good luck on everyone's first day. I'm kinda nervous. I have Fundamentals so I'm taking the textbook but I kept all my books in my car. This year shall be exciting!!! [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
  5. Thank you! Congrats on almost completing you first semester. I'm excited to start yet I'm in no rush. Gotta relax and mentally prepare myself
  6. For preparation, the top advice I'm seeing is to relax! And that is exactly what I plan to do lol
  7. I'm just waiting for my drug test results to be posted as complete and then hopefully the ball will be rolling!
  8. Already did my finger prints today. Just gotta do my drug test and I'll be good! I wasn't able to tell if we can walk in or make an appt?
  9. I got into Collier! Yay!
  10. I'm pretty sure they'll let us know it goes. If you go through the Fall 2015 thread, they got packets and such.
  11. I definitely feel that way too!..I got an email the other day and she said she couldn't read my HESI score. I don't know why but I was panicking inside but I sent her a copy and everything was good. Phew! lol hopefully the first week of November!
  12. I'm a little nervous but I'm trying not to think about it/ forget about it a little bit lol
  13. I applied to Collier first and then Lee
  14. I'm so nervous! Unfortunately, I work on a computer at work so I have the page open and I keep refreshing it every so often. But I wish you all luck that everything goes smoothly and we all get in!
  15. If you go to the websit and type in "asn" it will bring you directly to the page and you'll see it! But here's the link..... :) AS Nursing | Academics | Florida SouthWestern State College And for the transcripts, they should be evaluated by FSW so your credits and info would be viewable to them?...That's how FGCU did it. They didn't ask for transcripts because as a student, they should be there (Correct me if im wrong!). So yeah
  16. Hey! The application is actually up on the site. This year, it's going to be an online application and you'll pay your application fee on there. The application opens on October 1st-15th....so they pushed it back a little. Then we'll be notified November 13th
  17. I'm officially signed up for the HESI lol. September 22nd. I just started studying now. I'm just hoping for a 90.1 at the least! Have all of you guys signed up already? We'll basically be applying for Spring in pretty much a month!!!
  18. Yep. No scratch paper unfortunately. And there's a little tiny calculator at the corner of the screen for the duration of the test on all section lol. And it's annoying to to the math (lot's of fractions- improper and mixed!). But it's definitely doable! Trust me. You kinda have to remember numbers here and there, and remember your steps in the problems to not add the wrong things. But you'll be fine :)
  19. HI! So for my application, I just completed all my prereqs, but I know many people have applied and have been accepted to the nursin gprogram without completing all nine. It just means less point basically. But I always hear that Spring semester is less competitive. Also, I took the HESI once and I was super nervous! But honestly, it isnt THAT bad. For me personally, I could've gone over some more Biology and reading comprehension. I scored an 85.33. I think the best tip is to study go through practice tests and review a little bit of everything. If you start studying now, you can focus on one section a week (which I need to start doing lol). BTW, there is no physics or chem on the HESI, heyyyy lol :)
  20. I'm planning on taking it in September.
  21. Collier is my first choice. I live in Naples
  22. What campus are you applying to as your first choice? Macdonald1012
  23. You're welcome! Lol
  24. Same here. I'll be most likely taking it in September. And I believe Charlotte Campus would be closer to Lehigh. Fom my experience of driving there, Lehigh would be kinda far from the Collier Campus. I googled it (lol) the distance difference was 30 min (to Charlotte) and to Collier (50 mins)
  25. Hey! I've been lurking for a little bit to see if anyone would start a Spring 2016 page! haha So yes I'll also be applying for the nursing program at the Collier campus. I've taken the HESI one and scored an 85.33 but I'll be retaking it again to get AT LEAST a 95 (hopeful thinking right? lol). I'm nervous but excited because I know time will fly!
