8 years experience is SNF and Home health. I worked as a case manager for 2 years. I want to have Hospital experience in my resume at least for a year. I believe and know this will be a plus in my resume.

Hi everyone, i have been a nurse for 8 years now three of those as an RN. I recently graduated with my BSN at UTA. I do not have hospital experience, nursing home and home health is my background. I have put over 15 applications and still waiting for someone to call. Am i the only one experiencing this? I have seen HCA have internship positions i would love to apply but i don't want to be there for 2-3 years. Input will be appreciated.

Hey guys, I just wanted some suggestions or some ideas,I have been an LVN for 5 years now, I graduated RN 2013 so I am a newbie RN wise, I have mainly done nursing homes and peds home health, I am kinda getting tired of bedside nursing, I know I have to work in the hospital just to have a plus in my resume, what depts can I work that are less stressful? I doubt if there is any.....I actually changed my major from accounting to nursing main reason stability and the pay, I will be brutally honest nursing is not my thing but guess what bills got to be paid any ideas on how I should go about this, hospital don't want to hire ADNs....so I am thinking of getting my BSN online or ambulatory nursing. Ideas guys thanks

Look at your Cpr your weak areas focus on that, don't neglect the other areas, try and do 100 questions a day, I used Davis Q &A love love the cd, it has a lot a lot SATA which was my weak area, I urge to get this I promise you will not regret it. I never did Kaplan my school offered it but I never bothered ,as for the ekgs I did YouTube just learned basic stuff, KEY THING STAY FOCUSED AND DISCIPLINED.Above all pray I owe my success to God. I did not pass the first ,second but passed the third time so you know how I felt, please do not give up and don't bother doing pvt that is just to confuse you I know it is nerve wracking but keep yourself busy until you get your result above everything pray don't know what religion you belong to but God has the final say.... Hey Victoria am sorry that you failed check your CPR focus more on your weak areas, I can not tell you how to study, you know yourself better, you know your learning styles, your weak areas, if you can also stick to a few resources that would be great, have you also thought of study partner?
