  1. I passed my nclex with 265 questions and took the total 6 hours. This was my 3rd time taking it I graduated in Dec 2016 took it the first time in Jan. my test stopped at 81 questions. I used Hurst review the first time and felt the NCLEX questions to me were nothing like nursing school. The only real questions that were like nursing school were memorization type and those are below the line of passing standard. The second time i used Uworld and my test stopped at 121 questions. So i was much much over the nclex. but i decided to try Kaplan's course, I really couldn't afford the in classroom class so I brought the self pace fro 399.00 and used there coupon code for student and it save me 75.00 thank God. I promised to post on all nurses if I passed or not but I've turned here many of times to look up opinions on the best study materials, etc. So here it is , I enjoyed kaplan because in the beginning they have a self diagnostic exam before you even start nursing content and it gauges you weakness and strengths . It give you you probability of how much of a percentage you have to pass the nclex in the beginning before you start the program. Then it give you step by step instructions on how to create the study plan for your self .They have the online book and videos to go with the chapters so you can listen to content or read it , i did both. then you take teat trainer that are from 50 questions to 200 to build up your testing skills if you go the total time as i did. the week before you take the nclex you take the readiness it tells you you percentage if you were to take the exam that day and a week before. THe online class is basically questions and how to use the decision tree to work each question. Yes it takes longer to answer the questions using this but it help me pass on even the question that had medications or diseases i did not know. So i scored 53% on the diagnostic exam meaning I had a 93% chance to pass the nclex ON the Readiness exam I score 63% meaning I had 96.1% to pass and i passed I recommend kaplan 100% more than the Hurst (my opinion everyone learns different ) I also used the pearson vue trick and it worked because first two fails i got bad pop up within a hour or two This time i got the good pop up an hour after and checked it up til results and still got goo pop up. Good luck to those on this nclex journey still, my prayer s are with you....
