Grumpleweed

I am a proud introvert, but it can be a challenge, mainly dealing with co-workers and going for promotions. In the country I work in there is a lot of prejudice against introverts as you are not seen as 'leadership material' etc. You have to be uber overqualified and even then miss out to mediocre incompetents because your personality does not fit.

I've never dated a co-worker, but it's common where I've worked. Only in one case has it gone badly pear shaped. As in any potential dating situation there are both opportunities and risks that need to be weighed up.

It depends upon my shift. Generally 1/2 an hour their and back as I go against the traffic for if I am doing mornings or afternoons. For nights it about 1 hour as I am going with the rush hour traffic(and longer if it's raining or if there is a breakdown/crash on the motorway.

Ah the you are not a "real nurse" comment. As a psych nurse I get a lot of these ill informed comments and my usual response is to treat them with the contempt they deserve.

I am doing my pharmacology paper this semester and, while it is interesting, I am finding that learing all the different drugs to be a challenge, especially when some sound so similar. Are there any tricks and techniques that others have found to work for them that will help me with this?

My experience so far has been very positive, though I am only in the second year of clinicals for by B.N. In my previous llife working in the a corporate environment I found it to be much different. While there were differences between males in females in how they undermined and back stabbed each other the end result was the same. In fact I left my job convinced that the key requirement for a senior manager is that they suffer from sociopathic personality disorder.
