They are permitted to work as STNA's. However, your are held accountable for your highest license.

My ETG was postive. They called and told my job that I was suspended. Suddenly, I am unemployed. And wondering what to do now?

Thanks. Unfortunately, it is not a false postive. I have no idea where to even apply for another job. Without my LPN license, I can't even do STNA work. Should I enroll in an STNA program?

Yes, it is from a positive etg back in October. I havn't received their certtified letter yet. They called and notified my job before even letting me know. I was so embarrassed I didn't know what to say.

Hi Daisy I was wondering whatever happened to your license after a positive alcohol test while under a consent agreement. Also what are you doing now? I am in the same situation and I am wondering what to do.

I am under a consent agreement and have passed many drug screens already. I failed for ETG at the beginning of this month. Do you think they will permanently suspend me for this one positive?

I renewed my license over a month ago and the OBN accepted my payment. But my expiration date still says my license expires on Oct 2016. I called and emailed OBN and they told me when my license review is completed, they will contact me. Why does one's license even come under review?

I have been an LPN for over 18 years and still love what I do. I am interested in doing something different in the nursing field besides passing meds all day. I had considered going back to school to get my RN degree, but I would start out making less as a new RN than I currently make now as an LPN with so much experience. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
