    Thanks everyone! I hate that they go so far out of your way to prevent students from saving money. It looks like I might have to suck it up and buy the school-specific books. I appreciate your answers!

    I'm taking some science prerequisites this fall, and the required textbooks say something like "GPC special edition." Should I expect these special editions to contain anything...special? Or if I can find the same textbook for cheaper elsewhere, will it suffice? Thanks!
