  1. Wishing everyone Good Luck on their Nursing School Exceptance. I graduated from The WCTC RN Program in December 2007, (The 2nd class to go through the program). The program is great and the instructors were very hands on and good teachers. I don't know if they are letting people take the NLN test more than once, but I took it three times because I wanted a high score, which I ended up getting a 90% percentile only because NRSNG school is so competitive. Keep your grades up... Stay positive!!!! ATL_RN
  2. Hello, You should expect to eat, sleep, and breathe nursing (smile). Studying and working hard is the name of the game. You will have a lot of good instructors and a wonderful Nursing Director who will be willing to help when needed. Manage your time very well which is hard to do sometimes when you have family, children, or work. I recommend only working prn or part-time if you can. Further in the program, you might want to consider a Nurse Tech position at one of the local hospital which will build up your confidence. The first two classes are your basics and things should go smoothly as long as you keep up with the reading. Med Surg I and II will be the hardest of all, but you can make it and you will make it. One more thing, if you are use to getting A's and B's, you might be in for a wake-up call, so don't get discourage and beat yourself up. It has happen to the best of us going in with an A or B average, so it's expected. Well, good luck! I am in the second nursing class, we have 42 students still remaining, so hopefully it'll be 42 of us on December 15, 2007. Just remember, the program is still new so it will have it's ups and downs but in the end it's well worth it. Stay positive and motivated....... Good Luck, Bezue, Future RN WCTC December 2007

  5. If you don't mind me asking what was your composite score? I haven't taken college algebra in 8 years. I will definitely look for that study guide. Thanks for your help! I will let you know how I did next month. Thanks, Bezue
  6. Has anyone ever heard of this study guide from a company in Texas? Thanks, Bezue
  7. Thanks alot for that information! I took the test last month and made a 115, so now I am trying to increase my score to get in the 90 percentile. Thanks again, Bezue
  8. I am currently studying for the NLN RN entrance exam. I just wanted to know what you guys used to study for the exam besides the NLN study guide. I have been told that I will need at least a 150 or higher to even have a chance to get in an ADN program. I found this study guide by a guy named Peter Morrison. I wanted to know if anyone has used this study guide? If there are any other study guides that anyone can recommend, please let me know. Thanks, Bezue
