  1. Thanks Lim, I have completed most of my Pre-req at a nearby college and really only have about 7 to 8 nursing courses left, I have study guides and only took one exam so far which was a couple of years ago now I decided to finish. How far are you in your studies?
  2. Anyone living in the Atlanta area working on their RN degree through Excelsior College or know of a study group in the area?
  3. Sometimes keeping your cool under high stress is easier said then done. I find that Physcians and others who call themselves healthcare professionals who feel the need to raise their voice and feel everyone is beneath them is actually insecure ,weak human beings :chair: . I do not even tolerate this type of behavior but the rest of the nurses are correct in saying to bite your tongue esp. in front of the patient,or leave the room and cool down. He wanted a reaction out of you and I know Physcians like that, which I had to take aside and let them know in a low tone yet forceful voice if they ever got in my personal space or face again I would not only take the matter to the hospital CEO but also to the corporate ethics commitee. Do not let anyone steal your joy! Next time you see him give him a big grin, it will just eat him up! :rotfl:
  4. i appreciate your advice and will increase my chance by doing those things.
  5. Have anyone heard of IUON of St.Kitts? I was excepted but am hesitant because you spend 6mos there and transfer to a partner college in the USA to finish your RN degree and there is no waiting list.
  6. I have just started putting my application into a few RN nursing programs in some colleges in Georgia (Kennesaw,Clayton and Mercer) it seems like it is a difficult process getting into the nursing programs any suggesstions? Maybe I need to look outside the Atlanta area to increase my chance of getting in early. Anyone know any colleges that are taking applications and there is no waiting list?
