Okay, thank you so much! I'm excited to apply and then again I'm nervous.

So I am going to apply to the LPN program at TCAT Dickson in May for the Fall 2015.I currently go to a University and I'm taking my pre-reqs for nursing( anatomy and all of the good stuff). My question is that if i get accepted in to the LPN program at TCAT Dickson will I still have to take their anatomy course even though I have already revieved credit at the University?

I know for a fact that you can make a D in psychology and still be a nurse. I am still in my prereqs and it has happened to me,but look into a community college. Then again I am looking into a KY nursing program. May different in your state.

I am currently a pre-nursing student at APSU and I will be able to apply to nursing programs in the Spring of 2015. I was just wondering if anyone has been through the NSCC program? If so, how was it? I am just keeping my options open in case APSU does not work out.

I recently sent a email the director of nursing at the community college asking about the transfers credits and she said that only one of them didn't match up, which was a math course. But me transferring was already in my head before now and I had been looking at the requirements so i went ahead and enrolled for the math course that I needed. Thank You, I though it was a good plan too. Like I said I'm shooting for the ADN, if I'm not able to get into the ADN I'll try LPN.

tesouthern i just want to get a degree and start working in the field as a nurse. I know it takes time I still can be a RN with a ADN, but I'm still trying for the BSN.

Yes I am all of those well not husbandless more like wifeless lol. I have completed most of the prerequisites to the both programs I just looking at which one I could get accepted into quicker.

So I was worried about not getting into a BSN program and I have finally come to terms with it. I have decided to transfer to a community college after this fall semester. I will pursue getting my ADN or LPN license. I figured that it really isn't about the degree that one has but it is about helping people in need. I'm only 19 about to be 20. I said to myself that if I really want BSN I will go back after getting my ADN or LPN. So with that being said what do you all think? Good or Bad? Shooting for my ADN but I'll take anything!

Thank you so much, you have no idea how much better I feel after reading this. My school school gives us a "pre-nursing adviser", one that has not experienced the nursing career or anything she just tell us what courses we need. They have actual nursing advisers for the students in the program. I trying to change my adviser. I have been looking into other programs such as ADN the LVN. I will take your motivational quotes and put them to good use. Also I'll do the paper thing too. Thanks so much!!!!

I think mostly it is me taking my entrance exams and my science pre-reqs. I still have to take the three sciences and then I can apply

For the last few days I have felt like I'm going to be worthless and a failure in life if I don't get into a nursing program! Come to think of it nursing is all I want to do, i don't want a low paying job that I will hate. I want a career that I will love. It does't help when my advsior tells me to pick another major. I have tried that and that is why I am behind now. everything all returns to nursing. It is where my heart is set at. I was just wonder if there are any others out there that are feeling the same way I way? And is there anyway that I could get over that feeling.

I have the same feelings and I'm currently on my summer break! I have those thoughts all the time, plus it does help me when my advisor is telling that i wont succeed in the nursing field. I also have failed a class a i'm going to retake it in the Fall all we can do is pray and do our best. I understand where you are coming from. I hope you the best in future. Also I know people that I attend school with that are older than you. It is never too late to go back to school!
