I am currently in the Capstone class, so I'm almost finished! It is a great program overall. I am finishing after a year and 3 months, while working fulltime and as a mother of 2 with another on the way. You can do it! Like the previous comment, keep up with your work, do not fall behind. If you have coursework outside of nursing, such as English, Biology, etc, keep in mind that those courses are usually very different and very condensed! I would not take any other course work with those classes. Best of luck!

Hi, I am currently on my last course of the program, the Capstone. Overall, this is a great program. It worked well for me as a full time nurse and mother of two. I highly recommend it.

Hello everyone! I am now into my third to last term in the ULL program. I am scheduled to complete my last term, the Capstone project in December, if all goes well. I can tell you a few things about the program that they may not advertise. First, expect to pay more than $8500. ULL is kind of particular about their prerequisites and may not accept credit from other universities. Each non nursing course that you have to take online will cost approximately $1100 more. There is a trick to this though. Find out ahead of time where credits are accepted from that may be cheaper. I took an English through LSU's distance learning program that cost me less than $600 to fulfill my last English requirement. Secondly, some courses are a LOT easier than others. Be mindful of that. I have fairly easily completed prior courses with working a full time job. Now I'm in NURS 327 - Community Nursing - and I seriously want to cry EVERY DAY. It's a horrifically time consuming class with a very "on his game" instructor. It does not help that community health is not my thing. Overall its a good program and I will have hopefully completed it in a year and 3 months while being a mom and working a busy full time job. If I can do it, anyone can!
