Anyone attending KCKCC this fall??
Congratulations!! I will be starting the second semester in August. First semester is a breeze compaired to second. Develop good study habits in the first semester s you don't get overwhelmed in the 2nd. Keep all of your books because you will refer back to them 2nd semester. Also get a printer and a life time supply of ink lol. Teacher wise.. It all depends on the type of student you are. If you put yourself out there and try in clinical you will be just fine. Please please please don't argue with your instructors. Not only does it typically not end well for you but the rest of the class gets frustrated too. Ask questions even if you think its a dumb one. Chances are.. 3 other people have the same question. When you bomb a test... I say when because it WILL happen.. follow up with the teacher and find out what you missed. Any other questions or anything please dont hesitate to ask. Good luck and congratulations again!

Yep. They have student loans, grants and even.scholarships if you qualify. Im currently receiving loans and grants. My grant would be enough to cover my books and tuition.but since Im not working I took out loans to cover suprise bills and whatnot.

The program will start in August and go until May. I believe all of the nursing classes are in the main campus in KCK. The program is intense and every point counts. I am having to retake an assessment class for a lousy 5 points. 76% is passing. Anytbing lower is failing. Learn the nursing student handbook. Form.good study habits first semester because you will need them second semester.
