Im starting too. And with all the horror stories i see, the best i can say is "mouth close, ears open" we must not go with an angry mindset about the teachers. Since we know what the school is about, we have to be 10 steps ahead at all times. We do this by reading ahead and self-teaching. The most important thing is to not expect the teachers to teach us. It is up to us to learn the concept of answering nursing-style questions. The teachers are there to clerify if they feel ike it i guess. And read every single thing in the chapters; especially the highlighted boxes. Practice math over and over until it becomes habit. Keep your head in the books and forget about student/teacher drama. Make nursing school your bread and butter and get it done!
