  1. Hi McMann83, I just finished my first semester at LMU in Cedar Bluff and I REALLY love it. If you are looking for a great school, this is it. The faculty and staff are the most supportive I've ever experienced and they truly want you to succeed. This is an accelerated program so it is fast paced and you will be busy. I probably spent close to 50-60 hours a week on school stuff, including class time and clinical. The makeup of our class is widely varied - many students are older and have several children, some are first time parents, and some are very young and without children. I can't tell you exactly how many people passed this semester, but I know it was almost everyone. I'm friends with a few people who have several children and they do often talk about the challenges of playing all the different roles they have right now. There are also many students that work, some full time and some part time. It will be difficult, if not impossible to keep a traditional 8-5 job in this program. Some students work the night shift and go to school during the day. There are several people in the senior class who worked full time through the duration of the program, so it can be done. Basically, it will be difficult, but if it is what you want, you'll do whatever it takes to make it happen. That's not to say that it won't take some serious sacrifice. I have made a LOT of friends and I've learned an incredible amount. This program is tough, but fun! If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask! Good luck!
  2. I'll be starting this fall and I'm so excited! Just a few weeks away! Has anyone started working the problems in the dosage calculations packet? I've been trying to practice a little bit everyday and so far it's not too bad.
  3. Did you ever hear back from LMU? I was accepted into this program for Fall 2014 and I'm really nervous/excited!
