  1. I just want to let nurses know to check out Oklahoma Wes. They are extremely generous with transfer credits. I was set to go to Wgu until I received my degree audit from Oklahoma Wesleyan. The only class I have to take other then their nursing core classes is one religion course. Wgu required me to take statistics, history, speech, nutrition and biochemistry. Oklahoma Wes does not require statistics or chemistry. I actually already had .two chemistry classes anyway but Wgu would not accept them. I must say I have been researching for months for the right school. I highly recommend nurses to check it out. There is no application fee, it's worth a shot. It sure paid off for me. I start November 3rd, you take one class at a time. The length of classes are 4 to 7 weeks. There's still time to join me on Nov 3rd. My advisor was very helpful. CBurton21
  2. Hi there KcinNash, I haven't had any feedback on the school. The only class they require other than nursing classes is statistics. I'm sure they will accept your class. I will have to take it but not worried about it. They do require proof of two years of working as a RN. That's not a problem other than I started a new position last January so I have to contact my old employer for a letter which is a hassle. Let me know if you find out anything. CBurton21
  3. I'm trying to find out more about the Rn to Bsn program at Cumberland University in TN. I have applied and I'm trying to decide between this school and WGU. Some of the pro's they have accepted all of my prior credits. I do not have a college history or algebra and they do not require these classes. They also do not require nutrition. I'm having a hard time finding out about the classes as far as the difficulty level. Can anyone give me some information ? How long is each class? Is it possible to go full time. They say you can finish in 12 months if you go full time. Thank you for any feedback, CBurton21
  4. Hi Bugs RN, I have been accepted to SNHU as of today. I'm trying to decide between this program and another. I will need to take statistics. Just wondering if you or anyone you know have needed to take this course and how difficult was it. Also I was told I could test out of nutrition. How are your nursing classes going? Are there a lot of group projects? Anything you can tell me would be very helpful. Thank you so much, CBurton21
  5. Hope someone out there going to SNHU will respond to post. I'm looking at their online RN to BSN program and would like any feedback if possible on this program. Thanks for any help.
  6. Hi Nursecrystarn, First of all congratulations your in your last class! Thanks so much for responding to my post. I'm pretty sure at this point I want to go to ULL. I do dread the statistic. Did you do statistics with another class? Part of me just wants to try and complete it in 7 weeks but I don't know. Did you have to take any other prerequisites? And if so how we're they? I'm getting excited to start but nervous. Thanks again. Cburton21
  7. Hi all, I stumbled on this thread concerning ULL, I have applied and am waiting to here back concerning my transcript. i have been looking at Rn to BSN programs for mths and need to make a decision. I keep coming back to this school for the price and also I think I have most of the prereq. I know theres a tech class does has anyone taken this class? If so how difficult is it? Also, how long does is take for discussions? And most important would you recommend this school?
  8. Hi fellow nurses, I have just joined allnurses. I am looking for advice on a RN to BSN program. I have been searching for months. I actually thought I would go to IWU but I'm shying away due to the cost. I have been looking at UL at Layfayette, but the statistics course has me concerned. I have not taken math since high school. I will also have to take their history course, has anyone taken this course and how much time did it require? Can anyone tell me more about this program and also if they have taken the math courses were they difficult to do? I have hesitated due to cost, Layfayette seems to be affordable. Thanks for any advice anyone can give me. RN94
