Hi everybody just wanna share my story. Im a 27 yo male nurse in vegas doing home health. I recently began working two companies. Id say as a per diem nurse no benefits... suck. Been working two years for this company driving 60 miles a day to and from work. Put 35k on my prius c.... my poor baby. Anyhow i just feel i am being ripped off by the company. I am a hard working nurse. All patients that ive worked for have always asked for me back. They started me off at 19 an hour fresh out of school. Ive had a 2 dollar raise which puts me at 21 dollars. I feel i should be given better paying clients since i worked my butt off for them. My classmate who did worse than me in school has adult patients..... he gets a job close to his house and gets paid 35 an hour for adults. While im doing peds for 21 an hour. So anyways i got fed up with them and began working per diem for another company. I got a raise and now that i told my old company that i no longer can work certain days... they try to hire me on full time with benefits vacation time sick time off 45k a hear salary.... pft... i make 46k a year after taxes working for both companies..... what made them think imma give up my other job to work my butt off for less pay..... I worked hard.... give them 3 months ahead to find someone to fill my spot for a week so i can get married and they couldnt.... Should i be angry?? Do you guys think its fair for them to give me all the harder cases the other incompetent nurses couldnt handle? If only they treated me better instead of handing me chump change then i would have stayed with them. Worked full time hours for them with no benefits for 2 years.... Iono im stressed thinking about being the guy that picks up everyones mistakes.....
