Hi Determine2bodone, I've only taken the Nclex one time. I hesitate to recommend anything, because everyone will have a different experience depending upon their learning style. Also, the fact that you've been out of the loop for a year adds a whole other layer to the puzzle. That being said - - I still really found this course extremely helpful for me in helping me get a handle on the basics and preparing me for the test process. Check out a few of his free videos on YouTube to decide if you think it might help. I felt 10 times more confident after the first lessons. Depending on the amount of time you have before you take the Nclex again, you can listen to the Mp3's and review the workbook over and over again. (you buy it once, but then you have it for ever). Again, the fact that you've been out for a while, probably won't make things easy.... but out of all the stuff I did to prepare for the test (including a 5-day refresher course, and SEVERAL practice test question apps) this was the only thing that made me feel confident going into the test and during the testing process. Whatever you do, I wish you luck on your next round!
