I also got my rejection letter:( I was soooo hoping I would get accepted for the award. I do plan to apply again next year since this was my first time around. @grandpaj - did you ever call to see if you could have your questions answered? I'm also very curious about the selection process bc it makes no sense that you didn't get it and others did.

Grandpa- 200% is the highest I've seen mentioned so far..... I would have expected you to hear something by now. Hope you get good news soon!

I too am in Public Health in Kentucky. I am an RN, D/I ratio of about 100% and have not heard anything.... but my coworker, an APRN has received the award- her D/I ratio is under 100%, not sure of the exact number. We are a tier 2, with a score of 12. If I read correctly, 50% of the funds are reserved for Advanced Practice nurses... so we wait and see. I have read of several rn's getting it though. I don't think I will- I don't believe my d/i ratio is high enough compared to some of the other comments left on this and another post I follow. Hope you hear something soon! It's definitely life changing, that's for sure!!

I've heard of an rn tier 1 debt to income ratio of 133% getting confirmation. Hope that helps.

Myself (rn) and a coworker (aprn) applied this year.... the point of contact here got a request to verify the aprn's income.... does anyone know if it is likely that the aprn will receive the reward since her income is being verified? Seems to me that it would, but thought I'd ask someone who knows they got it for 2014.

I called a few months ago to ask a few general questions- the man who answered said I'd know by the end of October....
