  1. I graduated in May 13. I passed my first time after 150 questions. I only used ATI, and I only had a week to review. I went over every test we used in school and every tutorial they opened for us. I did buy two NCLEX review books (saunders & mosby's), but I didn't use them. Honestly, I feel like if you're a strong test taker and you did well in school, why pay more for review courses? You know how to be a nurse....You already are one....you just have to prove it to the state. In the end, getting 75 questions versus 275 doesn't matter. Say a prayer before you start, and read every question like that's really a patient sitting in front of you. You will be fine.
  2. Good job! I'd love to tell all candidates not to stress about number of questions......In my program we had a pre test that was ridiculous. It predicted I'd score a 98% on NCLEX and my friend would get a 64%. She passed with 80 questions. I passed too....after 150 questions. It's not the about the number of questions you get right....or even if you pass the first time. It's all about whether or not you give good patient care. Take the NCLEX and forget it. You don't need it. Treat your patients how you want to be treated and all will be well. You did two years of nursing school. What is one test compare to that?
