  1. I do believe you need to take 1st assist certification still, because FNPs do not rotate in surgery during their training.
  2. Should be the end of September
  3. Did anyone get a payment yet?
  4. Thank you for the input. I wish I could do that! Unfortunately, I am dealing with a bunch of MBAs and the CEO directly, so I need to go in there a little better equipped with a regional comparative analysis or something more concrete.
  5. What's the best way to find accurate pay scales by region, besides salary.com or any of the other generic websites. I am due for contract renegotiations.
  6. You will get your welcome letter next with your repayment details.
  7. Yes. I received mine this morning.!!
  8. patiently waiting for countersign:(
  9. Same. 3 weeks tomorrow
  10. Any countersigns yet?
  11. no countersign yet
  12. accepted on 7 22. Still waiting on counter sign also.
  13. When did you accept the award and sign the contract?
  14. For the NPs who have accepted the award thus far....have any been countersigned as of yet? I accepted on 7/22, but still awaiting my countersign.
  15. I don't believe there is a certificate that makes you eligible to be a nurse practitioner. You have to go through either a MSN or DNP degree program. Once you complete the program, you then have to pass the board certification for your chosen speciality through the ANCC or AANP. Unless things have changed in the last 2 years!! Go for it!!
  16. Award email on 7/22 @ 2pm. Accepted and provided banking info. Good luck to all.
  17. Hello all....I am new NP with 1 year of full time primary/urgent care experience. I am interviewing for an urgent care position at a very busy urgent care facility and I would like some guidance on what rate/salary I should ask for at the minimum. I was lowballed straight out of school:( I am not very good at the negotiating piece yet. Thanks!
  18. Jules A, what type of NP are you making that salary? You can PM me if you want. I feel shortchanged:P
