  1. Hi everyone, Can someone please shed some light on how long it 'normally' takes to receive confirmation from CNO (via email) that your general class license has been processed? I have waited 15 days, which I was initially advised to wait and still nothing! Not sure if anyone is in the same boat as me... Advice or suggestions would be great!
  2. First off, let me tell you... Do not feel like you've been overcome! I always told myself, you wouldn't have been able to complete the nursing program if you weren't capable! Take this time to learn, reflect and plan for how you will succeed! How did you study for the exam? How much time did you give yourself? Are you from Toronto (I ask because I can recommend a GREAT school to take a prep course!
  3. Hi everyone! It's so exhilarating to say I DID IT! I PASSED! All the nerves, sleepless nights and driving my friends and family crazy is over! To those who were successful, my congrats go out to you! You did it! For those who will attempt again... DO NOT GIVE UP! I speak from experience when I say I went through a time of failure. It took me 6 years (as opposed to 4) to complete the nursing program. With dedication, determination and supportive family and friends, you are destined to do whatever you strive to do. If you need any advice, tips, or tricks... I am more than happy to help! I have been there... Now it's my turn to pay it forward! CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES... REGISTERED NURSES! Time to celebrate!
  4. Can someone please explain how the temporary license from the CNO works? I am in the process of attending interviews for various RN positions and in the case of being hired, just curious if anyone has obtained a temp. license. I have indeed informed employers of my status of waiting for exam results, and some say they are willing to hire with a temp. license. 1. How do you apply for the license? 2. How long does the application process take? Hope someone can provide some info! Thanks a lot !
