I am applying to the UCCS Beth-El Nursing Program for Spring 2015. I am an out-of-state transfer student. I have completed all but 3 of my prerequisites and have a 3.34 in my completed prerequisites and a 3.10 overall GPA. I'm taking the last 3 prerequisites at UTSA Fall 2014 and I anticipate acing all of them which will bring me to a 3.40 prerequisite GPA and a 3.16 overall GPA. I took the HESI June 17, 2014. My scores were: Reading Comprehension 84% Grammar 96% Vocabulary and General Knowledge 92% English Language Composite Score 90.67% Biology 68% Chemistry 84% Anatomy & Physiology 88% Science Composite Score 80% Math 66% Cumulative Score 82.57% I have won the following awards and honors: National Society of Leadership and Success' training program graduate Student Leadership Institute Tier I graduate Student Leadership Institute Tier II graduate National Excellence in Leadership Award from NSLS Phi Theta Kappa member President's Honors List Spring 2010 President's Honor Roll Fall 2009 Northwest Vista College Student Ambassador Vice President of Scholarships for NSLS Tau Sigma member I worked as a home health care provider August 2012-January 2014. I have volunteered over 100 hours at various organizations. UCCS does not list a minimum HESI score. Most nursing schools require a 75% on each test. The minimum GPA for Beth-El is listed as 3.0 overall. I am wondering what my chances of being admitted are based on my current and anticipated scores.
