  1. Reorganizing to a mother baby unit: Couplet Care

    our hospital has decided to go couplet care which is good but want to go about it the wrong way, which is bad. we have 6 ldrp's and no pp beds except when we can get them from a med surge floor which is all the time now as our delivery rate is growing. I am interested in steps needed to reorganize safely including education for nursery nurses and post partum nurses, policies, care plans, staffing needs, and bed needs and bed licensing requirements. also would like to be able to find some evidence based articles we are in California.
