  1. So recently im thinking about choosing the RT program in nursing. Is it a good alternative? I want to help people but not in a way that kills me emotionally. RT interests me a lot but People say that RNs make more and are in a lot more demand. I dont care about the money but the job demand is what keeping me from being an RT. I live in a big city btw. Any thoughts?
  2. Oh ok thats more clear. So what if you dont become a cna and go straight to rn? Are is expected to remember everything from nursing school (im not in the program yet)
  3. Newbie question but whats the differences in duties as for working as an lpn cna and rn? Is one better than the other? I just heard they do the same duties and some do more and some can only do so much.
  4. Thanks for the links. I watched a lot of videos on nursing as well. The job seems very interesting to me which makes me want to become one
  5. Thanks guys for the advice and yes Ill talk to a counselor very soon!
  6. Ive seen so many cons if nursing to the point where it makes me want to question nurses this. Do you guys love being a nurse? And at the same time are you happy with your life?
  7. Calivianya damn thats depressing but can i ask why you chose or what are the pros of nursing in your opinion?
  8. Wow divorce rates and suicide rates are higher than average? Out of all of the cons that one shocked me. I mean this is off topic but what is this caused by? Besides having to see people pass away?
  9. True but to add to my topic what are the pros and cons of being a doctor vs being a nurse? I shouldve asked that instead haha.
  10. Ive come so far in school already and am about to be in my nursing program soon but i feel like I shouldve been a doctor... Once i become a nurse is it a good idea to go back to school again to become a doctor while working as a nurse? Would it be too overwelming? I feel that im still young and should at least go for another career. Than again i didnt even start nursing. Becoming a nurse vs becoming a doctor?
  11. Well to add to to the topic my hair length is like this but shorter http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/medical-male-nurse-doctor-22660279.jpg
  12. Thanks guys. I read my school policies and it only says "must be neat and if long must be tied above the neck" something like that. I hope this goes for men as well.
  13. Do male nurses require a hair length? My hair is medium and does not touch my shoulders nor my collar(would never grow it long) but i have a side swept fringe. Is it okay for the job? I googled this question but most of the answers were " it depends on the hospital" or " as long as its well groomed
