  1. Hi, I'm also waiting for the results later this month. This is my first semester applying tot the nursing program. I took the TEAS and scored an 89%. I have mostly A's in my pre-reqs, but my overall GPA isn't great. I wasted a lot of time taking classes for a major that I was not passionate about, and my grades show it. I wish I realized a lot earlier that nursing was what I wanted to do. That's okay though, I'm remaining positive and know that I will get started as soon as it's meant to be! Good luck to everyone else in the lottery.
  2. I am in the same position but I found a nursing school in my area who factors your GPA ONLY for your science pre-reqs and English. I screwed off a little back in the day, but I am serious and focused now (10 years later). I would search for a school that admits based on your pre-reqs only and then try to get all A's this time around.
