So stressed out!
First off take a deep breath! You have a few weeks to prepare which is much better than a few days. I'd get the Elsevier HESI Prep 3rd addition. Goes over almost everything on the exam. Its best to have a good foundation for the basics in all subjects. A&P know how every system works in a basic form. Math is basic and the guide goes through it. Word problems can be tricky and time consuming understand whats needed and how to get there. Grammar/Vocab/Reading are all included. Biology/Chem are basic and an intro class in either should be sufficient for a good score on the exam. I just found out I got in my program. You will want a score of at least an 80% cumulative, but it depends on how your peers do and the standards of the school. Work hard and you can do it! :)

Help
I get a little concerned if a nursing school doesn't require testing in a&p, chem, or at the very least biology.

Took the HESI yesterday , now here's MY experience !
I thought this was a somewhat rude post. First off good for you! 2nd what may be simple for you may be difficult for others. Everyone has a unique way of learning. Some concepts are just hard to remember pending how long you have been out of school. A&P was difficult. Luckily my cohort bombed it as well. Reading I thought was difficult also because my brain was mush by that time. This test is difficult because of the length. I did better than my average mates so hopefully I get in!

Thanks! There was no information given to us on a required passing score. There were about 64 people that took the test and 32 available spots. I think that if I did better than half the takers I should be in right? Sorry I tend to be a worry wart :) I should know in a week or so

Just took the hesi someone help!
Just took the HESI a few hours ago. Felt awful when I left. Started off with the Math scored an 80 (not how I wanted to start, but okay.) Moved onto vocab 88%. Feeling better took the A & P. Over thank the majority of question. Thought I did alright ended up with 68%. Felt pretty bad after that one since I had an A in Phys and B in Anat. It has been about 2 years since I've taken either though. Went to Chemistry next and scored an 80%. Then Bio 76%. At this point I'm getting tired of testing. I took the grammar, and got a 76% then the reading and just coasted through it and got a 76%. Then the final nursing questions wasn't expecting it so I just sort of rushed through it. Now after feeling horrible I talked to a girl after who took it and did worse than me. the class average on A&P was a 68% and the overall hesi score for the class was 75%. I scored 78%. Should I be happy or did I not get in? Not sure how I should feel yet.
