  1. hey everyone, quick question. Is anyone else having issues gaining access to the HIPAA and Confidentiality training that is needed for our registration checklist? I spoke to UF computing assistance and they said it was because my affiliation still hasn't been changed from applicant to enrolled. I contacted the coordinator of nursing admissions and he said that it is a glitch that is being fixed for several people, so at least i know i'm not alone. It's a bit frustrating though because I cannot see any potential financial aid since my affiliation hasn't been changed... and I really can't afford school all on my own so I don't want to be stranded without any aid if this takes too long. I was told on the 9th that it was still going to take a couple of days until everyone's status is changed... Is anyone else experiencing this?!? help pleaseee!
  2. i am planning on only attending the mandatory nursing orientation on aug 22nd, i received an email from a lady i spoke to from the college of nursing with tentative dates that we will have to be going to campus for labs. if they are correct, we will have the first lab august 27th which is less than a week after our orientation...
  3. Hi everyone! First time posting here. Congrats to everyone that have gotten their letters and best of luck to everyone still waiting. I got my letter yesterday for pedi primary care NP and part of me really wants to say yes but I have 1 main concern. 1. From what I read and spoke with the advisors when I first applied, the program is primarily online. I live in Miami and I'd really like to keep living down here during the program, I don't mind driving up there when I need to but my job, family, and life are in Miami. I chose Miami for my clinical site also. Does anyone else plan on not living in gville for the duration of the program??? Any input would be appreciated! I plan on calling the advisors again to clear everything up before I make my decision but I wanted to hear from you guys as well. Thanks!!! :)
