  1. ATI is only comparable with a desk top or laptop, nothing else. I was talking to the help desk from the ATI site a few weeks ago and that's what I was told. I tried my iPad, my husband android tablet and neither would work. Looks like I will need to purchase a laptop soon.
  2. It is so much easier to memorize facts! That's how most test are, memorize, take test, pass test, forget all info. That is not going to work in nursing school, flash cards are my BFF when it comes to studying. But I need to adjust my studying habits some how because that's not going to work anymore.
  3. Me too! But I live an hour away. So idk what to do.
  4. Now it wasn't terrible or anything. ( like a 20%) but I feel really upset. I am not one of those all A students, usually B's with occasional C's. It makes me question whether or not I can do this. I start questioning whether or not I am smart enough. I am by no means quitting but I can not fail at this! Anyone have any tips? Or did you go through this?
  5. At my college we are not aloud to record lectures, so I have not used dragon. That as well would be helpful though, our textbooks do have companion sites through evolve. But no audio to listen to for my commute or if there is I have not figured it out yet.
  6. I know right! So sad for us though
  7. Hello everyone! Got through my first week of nursing school and it was great! I purchased all my textbook but was wondering since I drive an hour to and from school, does anyone use audio books for textbooks as well? I looked online and didn't have much luck, I would love to be able to listen to my textbooks during my commute.
  8. Congrats on completing your nursing program!
  9. Great news! My work just opened a part time position at another location ( which is also closer to home) and they are letting transfer there, so happy!
  10. Yeah, they are making it difficult at work to remain there. I still need my job and income. But I will not pass up this opportunity.
  11. It's not really about being to much to take on I guess, it's my works inability to work with me. I have no idea if school and work will be to much at this point, I hope not I have had a job since I was 12. Not working would seem so weird to me, a lot of unknowns at this point and it's making me crazy
  12. I was just wondering about how everyone dealt with working and going to school. My first semester for nursing starts in a few short weeks and the company I work for ( been here 9 yrs) will not work with me schedule wise. Because I am not available 40 hours ( I can do 33 hours which is still full time per there HR dept) my manager just informed me, he can not work around my class schedule. I filled out all the proper forms and let him know 30 days prior and never thought he won't work with me schedule wise. I really don't know what to do, he asked what I was going to do. Quit school or quit work? I beside myself, I need my job but I worked so hard getting where I am now and finally getting into nursing school.Has anyone else had situations like this? What did you do?
  13. I don't know how they manage, I have adhd and I am starting my nursing program in the fall. Very scared/ worried/ excited.
  14. Yay!! I was hoping to met someone on here who is going to becker this fall.
  15. Are you doing asn or bsn ??!
