  1. By good school I meant if I graduate, can I get hired right away. Since there's virtually no jobs for new grads in california, I was even thinking about going to CC to get ADN and maybe work on RN to BSN program. I was wondering, what type of jobs can I get with ADN degree?
  2. Yeah, I'm planning on staying in California and WCU is my safe bet. I looked into Chattanooga and they said it takes four years to complete, which I don't want to do. WCU on the other hand is 39 month. I was even thinking about getting an ADN degree at the community college because I finished my prereqs. I have pretty good GPA for Prereq but my Bachelor's GPA sucks. I really want to go to CSULA and spoke with advisers. They said I'm in a pretty good standing (have 21 points out of 31 thanks to my Bachelors), but to be competitive, I need about 25 points. I'm really scared of not getting in and I really don't want to move out of state. I don't know if I could get a job after I graduate and might end up with huge loans if I go out of states. I would rather get an ADN degree from CC and work on RN to BSN program...
  3. Hello, I'm trying to apply to any BSN programs in Los Angeles Area and I noticed West Coast University doesn't have too much requisite. I hear you could take Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Developmental Psych, and all the prerequisite required for Cal State University and decrease the amount of classes to take at WCU. Some people say they lowered their tuition to 80 to 90 thousands. Should I apply to WCU? I've taken all the prerequisite for CSU and was wondering if these will transfer to WCU.
  4. Hello, I'm looking into BSN program around the Los Angeles area. I don't have RN license but have BS in Biology. My GPA isn't good so I'm looking into pre-license BSN programs around Los Angeles Area. Should I apply to both BSN and ADN? I'm thinking CSU LA, West Coast and Mt. Saint Mary, but I know it is very competitive to go in so I'm kind of discouraged to apply to BSN program... Will I be able to find a job if I go into ADN route?
