    Thanks... I am finding this out. Thankfully I have someone already there. I currently live on the beach in NC.... so this is going to be a big change. Thanks for the link.... Very helpful :)

    I am planning to travel in Ridgecrest starting January (pending getting an assignment). My boyfriend is stationed there but currently lives on base. Any recommendations on housing? It's difficult to find anything on the internet. Also any info from previous travelers to this area would be great.
