  1. Congrats!! Do you mind sending me the info please? I'm an international nurse also, and having a hard time with the Nclex. If you could send me an e-mail at [email protected] I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!!
  2. Hey there! I got the book but I can't access online questions. How does it work?
  3. Why I can't get access to Maryann Hogan online website?I don't know the course ID they're asking. It says get it from an instructor..
  4. Good job!!In which country did u graduate from?
  5. Congratulations to you!!!!Omg u did it!! Good job!!You got me in tears..Enjoy it!!
  6. Hi Saman! My advise is go for Hurst review and then for strategies with Kaplan and PDA. Nscbn has good questions to practice but not a good review of content. If you already know your content then go with Kaplan :)
  7. Oh ok..I see. No, just basic stuff, how to greet mostly I hope Hurst works for you :). I'm taking it in MA and you?I don't know how it will go this time but I will try my best! Thanks
  8. Alpurv omg tomorrow!!! In which state are u taking it?What were your scores with Kaplan? You will do great!Take your time answering those questions, don't rush it. We deserve it, you deserve it!
  9. Bitte schon! I'm thinking in July. I've been preparing for 2 months now,my scores have improved, but I don't know if I'm ready yet. Hurst took me one month. You just listen to their videos and for each chapter go back to Saunders to reinforce the material. That's what I did. Now I'm going again over Kaplan q-banks and when I finish them I'll go try again. You said u graduated in 2003?Why so late taking the Nclex?
  10. I took the online review.Hurst offers a lot of basic content. I don't know if u already know your content and need only a strategy.I needed content so I took it;their video lectures are very entertaining and easy to understand. They also offer q-banks 6 of them each with 125 questions(not as hard as kaplan q-banks) to brush up what you've learned. Personally, I liked it, If I knew before of Hurst I would have taken it instead of Kaplan. As an international nurse I think that we need to study the content before strategy to answer the question. If u dont want to spend money with Hurst you can study Saunders book, its a little to much but its rich with material. Once again, its relative, I don't know what you are lacking, If u need more review or just a good strategy?
  11. I'm from Italy :-) I did use Kaplan the first time and I didn't pass because I was lacking content. Now I'm using Saunders comprehensive book and I took Hurst too.Not sure when I'll take it again,I'm doing as many question for now :-)
  12. Hi there! I'm an international nurse preparing also for the Nclex. What are you using for your studies this second time?
  13. Hello there! I never thought I would post this, but at this point I need to say it to someone, since my family has high expectations for me,its embarrassing telling that, even though I was a great nursing student ,I cant pass this test..I am an international nurse, graduated in 2012 back in Italy. I moved to the USA right after finishing college, so I don't have any work experience as a nurse.Once I arrived here I was full of hopes and dreams, I was looking at it as a new opportunity for me.After transferring all my school credits and passing the TOEFL I started preparing for the NCLEX. I took Kaplan ( which here in MA they say its the best). With only that I dared to take the test, even though I knew I wouldn't pass, but I wanted to know how was it.There's no doubt that is a good program but for me it didn't work and now I now why. I was lucking content. Now I'm taking the Hurst review which I like and I think helped, reading Saunders 5 edition at the same time, but still I don't feel prepared enough. I know that you will never feel prepared for that test, but I'm insecure. Reading so many things from different materials is so stressful. I don't have much connections here since i'm new, I don't know any international student in my situation, I don't have friends who can advise me I have read so many posts here at all- nurses, fail and success stories and I don't want to make this sound a big deal, but for me it is..I feel lost. Sorry for making it so long but I really wanted to let it out.
  14. Oh ok..I should have figured that since I was reading old posts..but thank you for your reply! I am an International nurse and I am having a hard time with Nclex. I took it once and failed. I did Hurst review, Kaplan Q-banks, reading Saunders 5 edition, but still I dont feel prepared..Im just terrorized to go take it again and still not passing it..I just feel lost..
  15. Hi guys! I am new here but I have been reading Nclex success story saying about Suzanne plan and how helpful it is. It looks like they removed it and I cant find it..Is there anyone who can help me with that material, please?
