  1. I'm taking the assessment test tomorrow at Blake Austin college in Vacaville. Is it hard? The only part I'm worried about is the math portion!!
  2. Hey everyone! I am a military wife about to be stationed in fairfield, ca. Im trying to decide which route would be best for me in becoming an rn. I am only going to be here for two years and we won't know where we are going after that for a long time. I was thinking of option 1 to go to a community college to save money and get my prereqs done (I have no college experience yet so i would have to complete prereqs for my prereqs) and risk having to be on a waiting list in the next place we pcs to for a nursing program. And hope they have the same prereqs. OR option 2 would be to spend lots of money on an accelerated program to become an lvn in 1 year and then to an lvn-rn program when we move or before if i have time to. But I know i wouldnt have to wait to be on a list or get prereqs done. HELP ME!!
  3. but what do you think the best route would be when we do move? Getting my prerequisites done at a community college and then doing an associates degree? Lvn-rn? Or maybe a school like kaplan with the shorter programs? That's what I'm so unsure of.

  5. New Navy wife here! My husband will be attending bootcamp in about a month, so we will not know where we will be for a few months. But my question is what is the best route to becoming an RN as a military wife? I have no prior degree or college credits. I just don't know where to start! I want to know the best route when we will be moving all over. Please help!! Thanks :)
