How to study????
No, the tests aren't proctored. The sciences I take lecture online, but lab on campus. Those exams are on campus as well. I thought quizlet wasn't reliable? Kind of like Wikipedia?

How to study????
I can easily absorb info from English classes and History classes, but when it comes to the Sciences I have a hard time. Simply reading is not enough. Writing down notes is not enough. All of my classes have been online and I won't lie. I have opened up the book to check my answer a time or two on a test. How do you prevent brain dump? How do you absorb the material?

When did you take the Hesi?
The community college that I am going to told me to take the Hesi now. My university told me to wait. I only have 2 prereqs left for the CC and about 5 left for the Uni. Why can't I take the Hesi right now as like a practice and then do it when the Uni wants me to do it? Usually you are only allowed to take the Hesi once during an application period for the Uni. So, I take it now to get a feel of it. Then, take it later for the Uni? What if I do bad on it when the Uni wants to take it, then I have to wait a whole application period to retest? What would you do? Take it now or wait?

I'm not a nursing student yet.. pre nursing student. Since I am on break from the semester, I am bored and have been doing a lot of reading on here. There are some things I don't understand. Maybe I am getting too far ahead of myself, but it's all out of curiosity for now. Assessments... When I was in mother baby as a patient, no one looked in my eyes with a pen light. So do particular units do assessments or what? When do you do an assessment? On admission? Also, if we have a medical diagnosis, why do we need a nursing diagnosis?

Clinicals at UTA
Do you do your clinicals alone or with your classmates? Do you even get to know your class mates since it is all online?

Would this be smart?
Thank you for your replies :)

Do you think this is too much?
UTA is local to me, so it will transfer from the community college.

Would this be too much?
I posted this under the University of Texas @ Arlington under colleges, but it is not very active in there. So, I want to post this here. I am bad at math, so I want to take College Algebra at my community college. It will be the traditional semester and is online. That class will start 8/28 and ends in December. I am taking Intro to professional nursing at UTA starting 8/11 and is ACCELERATED. It ends in 5 weeks. It will cross over into English 1302, which is 8 weeks and starts 8/18. Intro will end 9/12 and Engl 1302 will end 10/10. Then, 9/22 Technical Writing starts and it is 5 weeks and will end 10/24. Actually just thinking of it I can't take Engl 1302 and Tech at the same time, so I can take the one that starts on 11/3. By then all I will have is College Algebra when Tech writing starts. So I will have Algebra and Intro at the same time. Then, 1302 will cross over. Intro and English will end and will only have Algebra for a few weeks by itself until Tech writing begins. Will this be too much?

Applying to two. Mostly just want to focus on the BSN program though.
