@lilymm Oh! I thought we waited and they did that for us. I am going to do that tomorrow then. What classes did you pick and with what professors/days/times??

@lilymm Thank you! You too! :) & I have everything done except for the drug test, I'm out of the country on vacation so I have to wait until I come back to do that. & I thought the college picks out your classes for you?

Hi @ejillest ! Thank you for your kind words! & sure no prob! My gpa was a 3.65 and I was a member of my college's honor society, PTK. I also had a letter of rec from my chemistry professor and one from the Assistant Dean. I also had a lot of volunteer hours from a hospital where I live. :) Let me know if you have any other questions!

I got denied as well guys so I will be attending UM, goodluck to you all! & remember to stay positive and look at the bigger picture!

Ahhhh! So nervous today! Hoping today is the day! I've been seeing UF stuff everywhere and it's taunting me! LOLOL

No matter what we are all going to be nurses! And amazing ones I'm sure :) My friend emailed the advisor at UF Kenneth Foote and apparently the letters went out Monday so I don't know why its taking so long I really hope tomorrow is the day because I'm going out of the country on vacation this Saturday and I have to let UM know if I accept their admission by tomorrow. UF is my dream school but I can't wait forever

Cvtsarah: I had volunteer experience in the summer of 2011 in a hospital in Miami. I shadowed nurses and assisted them with small tasks. I didn't submit any letters of recommendation though. Do you guys know if they actually read and consider the essays? Lol

Hi everyone! New to this thread! I applied to the generic program for this Fall as well! Hoping to get the opportunity to attend! Just really anxious because I'm a transfer student and I heard they only accept about 3-5 transfers and the rest are already UF students :)

I got denied too goodluck to everyone else on their nursing careers and congrats to those who got in! I'm still waiting for UF

I'm upper division. I know for upper division we're supposed to find out 3-4 weeks after the deadline which was May 30th so this week is the 3rd week. Hoping we hear this week.

Aw thank you so much! Same to you! And haha! I know! That's why I'm kind of anxious to leave Miami, I love the beach. But at least Clearwater and St. Pete isn't too far from USF! And oh man, well I'm sure you'll get into UNF and USF, just stay positive. Whatever is meant to be!

Just be confident! & UF is my first choice, I'm just SO nervous because I heard they only accept about 3-5 transfers from other colleges. All the other people they accept were already UF pre-nursing students But I'll be just as happy if I get into USF. I also got into UM and I live in Miami currently so if all else fails I'll enroll there.
