Good day, I am a registered nurse in the Philippines. I found a job offer for Hughes Medical Center in Anguilla, British Virgin Islands. They have an opening there for an OR nurse. The agency says they're letting me apply because of my experience in the surgical ward and operating room (current). I'm just wondering if anyone is already working there or has worked there. I'm kind of looking for information about it. Such as tax, safety etc. The agency tells me that the basic pay is $1,250 and $250 food allowance. Free transport and accommodations. Hopefully someone here will have information about it. Thank you very much.

There are 1,000 slots for federal skilled workers for the profession of Nursing. However one requirement is the WES so that your credentials can be validated. Just a word of warning though, for most international nurses that went to their own universities/colleges and graduated in a four year bachelor degree their credentials came back as two year diploma course.

Hi clayford90 Somebody from another forum told me that you'd need 5 years of permanent residency in order to get a citizenship waiver to join the military as a Nurse Officer. Do watch Basic Up in youtube to see the life of a recruit because even as a nurse, you'll be joining privates in training.
