had my interview on tuesday at the main fort lauderdale campus. My nerves really got to me. But im very happy i went and accomplished this much so far. Waiting on Nova's decision!

congrats to those who have been accepted!! i have my interview on the 14th and could not be any more excited and nervous! studying for a micro bio midterm and prepping for the kaplan. it is so surreal at this point. I couldnt be happier. we all worked so hard to get to this point, so good luck to all of the future nurses out there!

Sgray same here!!!. I have my cna and am exempt from the hsc1005 but still need the rest. I read there's a website that someone said earlier to complete all of them. My only question is does broward accept them ?

Thanks! I have the hesi review book from broward and it helped me out prepping for the hesi. Everything but the anatomy and physiology was pretty on point. On the actual exam it was very detailed mostly pertaining to neuro.

Good luck on your interviews! I have mine on the 14th in ft Lauderdale. Trying to get my hands on the Kaplan review book. I did well on my hesi at broward college. Wonder if it's similar. Time will tell!

Pre admission as well! Way to go everyone. We have all worked very hard to get to this point and I'm ready to work even harder at it once I'm there! Congrats again.

Applied last thursday after taking my hesi and sitting with nichole. my status says pre program evaluation... i know they still have to review my CNA license. Nichole said last week when we spoke that she was about to start pulling apps this week! I cant wait until we finally get our answers! keeping my fingers crossed for everyone:)

Wow I didn't think they would start doing interviews so soon. Did they call or email you? I noticed a few changes on my VIP page along with they unchecked my application fee which made me mad since I paid for it back in July. Now my nerves are really kicking in! Hey Sharks! "Patiently" waiting for that email/letter. I just applied to Browards program and passed the HESI as well. I also submitted my app to Nova a few months ago. Graduating from Broward in December with my AA right after I survive Micro! Nova is my first pick, thats the one Im dreaming about. Good luck to everyone out there. Lets get this thread going.

Fractions and mixed numbers when it comes to multiplying/dividing/adding /subtracting**

You guys were definitely right. I passed everything except for the anatomy!!! When the man at the desk printed my results he looked at me and said "you failed the part that everyone does" I feel like I spent so much time reviewing math that I didn't even brush up on my anatomy. Definitely anatomy 1 primarily. As for math , that's my weak point and I scored an 85%. keep in mind I've struggled with math since I was very young. Simple solve for x basic algebra. Know your fractions and mixed number fractions when it comes to multiplying. I reviewed for conversions on YouTube: just a simple search for nursing conversions. Making a number line to understand the prefixes really helped in understanding what to convert so basically any conversion that was thrown at me I was able to calculate based on the number line I practiced with. Overall the hesi was a breeze considering I had to pay an additional $60 to go in and pass the anatomy. Implants on doing that next week with all of my classes that start this week. You've got this guys!

taking my hesi at broward tomorrow morning guys! been studying the hesi review from our bookstore and trying to brush up on my math. very worried about conversions. ill post on here after to let those who are curious know how it went. i start khan's micro and lab in north campus on the 25th also... nothing from nova yet! hope everyone is doing ok.

i am currently taking stats with maky manchola at central. like everyone says, math is not my strongest subject but this man will help you breeze through the course. i take my final on wednesday and currently have a 99.4% in the class! homework, 3 quizzes, 3 tests ( lowest test dropped) the tests are identical to the the corresponding quiz, values changed ofcourse. also plenty of extra credit opportunities.

hello everyone! im dede. gearing up to apply to browards jan '15 ASN program. ive finished all of my pre reqs (taking micro+lab starting this aug/fall) and ready to take my hesi at central next week.... Ive already applied to Nova and if that falls through based on my gpa I will hopefully be seeing you guys around!
