Okay, so I am currently attending a CC and I have taken mostly all my pre reqs.. Except my sciences & stats & a technical writing class. I actually took A&PI twice but I had to drop due to personal issues.. I took Micro and was 2 points away from a C.. I have also had to retake a Psych class because I had a C in it. I spoke with an advisor at UTA, and she told me to retake my A&P & make an A, as well as all my other sciences to get as close to a 4.0 as possible. She also said to make good grades in the rest of my pre reqs to bring my overall GPA up.. i am just wondering if anyone else is in maybe a similar boat as me with having to retake classes.. I am 21 years old and I'm looking at 2.5 more years until I have my BSN.. I want to be a Nurse, and I know that but do any of y'all think I am doing bad? As far as my grades so far, or should I just change my major to something else in the health care field. I just got a job at a childrens hospital, and it makes me so excited to be a nurse but I get discouraged for having to retake classes because when I started school I had no clue what I wanted to do so I didn't care to much about my grades.. But I would like to hear other thoughts, if I am the only one going through this. Thanks
