Anyone out there have advice on negotiating RN salary at a hospital? I'm a new grad and was just offered my first job. At what step in the process should this be done and how would you go about it? Thanks!

Nursing math is NOT hard! You will make more money as an RN, which is nice. Become a nurse if thats what is in your heart!

I am a recent grad, had my 1st interview 2 weeks ago and was offered a position today. My coverletter and resume look similar to yours except that I did not add my clinical experience. I do not think it is necessary because most nursing students go through the same rotations. If you wanted to bulk up your resume, maybe you could expand on your work experience. I agree with AllInRN about the education, before I graduated I applied for a few jobs and that is how I was instructed to word it. I would not add an objective as I was told to remove mine and I also don't have a professional goal. I was asked in my interview what my future goal is. Good luck!
