  1. Hello all! I'm currently in Rush University's ABSN program, which is so much tougher than I expected... I'll be lucky to end up with a 3.3 or higher. I think I want to become and NP, and I was wondering if anyone had an idea on the type of GPA most grad schools require? Do you think they take into account if you did an ABSN? Thanks so much ya'all! Andrea
  2. Congrats on getting in. I'm in my 2nd quarter of the ABSN at Rush right now, so let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to help you out. Also, I'm from CA and went to UCLA, so we have that in common too! Rush is a great hospital, but they aren't lying when they say that school is harder than anything you've done before! Take care, Andrea
  3. So, I finally heard from Rush and the interview's on August 12th! I'm really excited.
  4. Cool!! The Admissions Counselor told me I should hear whether or not I'll get an interview sometime this week. Any idea when the interviews will be? Thanks for the info.
  5. Yeah, every time I speak to the Admissions Office I feel like I'm getting hte brush-off. I hope I'll get an interview so I can go out there and meet the actual professors. But a flight from CA to Chicago isn't cheap!
  6. Hi, I'm Andie. I'm new here :-) I've applied to Rush U's ABSN program, and so far they've barely told me anything. Does anyone out there know about their program, how selective they are in terms of grades and experience, etc? Thanks!
