I haven't. Their website said today they will be notifying those accepted into the cohort. Which means that those that they are notifying have probably already been interviewed. Seeing as how I never got a call or an interview I am not expecting anything from them.

I just graduated with my BSN in May and I'm wondering if anyone has any information on new grad residency programs at St. Joseph's hospital in Tampa? When do they open and when would they start? I am interested in NICU, Peds, PICU, or the PCICU.

I've also been looking at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa and Tampa General Hospital and some of the smaller hospitals throughout St. Pete and Tampa. Many of these hospitals do not have large pediatric floors or have few openings for residency programs.

I'm sure she meant to say May 30th. It doesn't make sense for them to sit around and do nothing for a month. I'm sure they want 2 or 3 weeks to be able to interview everyone and then another week or two to make their decisions and notify people if they are offering them a job. Hearing all the information you have is making me feel better. I did 6 weeks of internship in the PICU and I've worked at preschools and summer camps so hopefully that makes me look good to them. I guess I've just got to keep my fingers crossed and wait for a phone call! When are you taking your NCLEX? I've signed up for June 11th. Would you be close to the July 28th deadline after you take it and have it endorsed? I don't know much about the endorsement process since I'm staying in Florida.

I emailed All Children's HR last week and it says they received and read my email but I haven't received a response yet. This was my number one choice so now I'm starting to apply to other hospitals in the Tampa/St. Pete area. I wonder how many people applied for All Children's residency program and what type of grades and experience they had. I wonder if I even have a chance

Hi mac2014, Wow, only 5 people...that's crazy! I can't believe it. When you called HR, was it easy to reach them and what types of questions did you ask them? I went to nursing school at Florida State University in Tallahassee and I'll be moving to Tampa by the end of may. It is about 4 hours south of Tallahassee. I'm from Florida and I love it here, you've just got to get use to the heat. Although Tampa doesn't get quite as hot as Tallahassee (the high this week here is 97 degrees!!) Where else are you going to apply to?

Hi New2Nursing14', I just applied for the 2014 cohort starting in August and I was wondering how long it took for you to hear anything back from HR when you applied?

Hi Mac2014 and UMnurse310, I applied for the RN residency program as well and I haven't heard anything yet. I read on their website that you'll either get a phone call to schedule and interview or you'll get notified that you weren't selected. Has anyone been denied yet? Also, on their website they took down the interview fair dates, does this mean that they are no longer having the interview fair?
