  1. Theft case please help

    I need help fast!! Earlier this year in March, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and I got arrested for shoplifting. I was able to get a good lawyer who told me to plead no contest to the charge of class C misdemeanor theft. I was granted a deferred disposition, given 3 months probation provided I don't get into any trouble within those 3 months then the case will be dismissed and will be eligible for expungment in 2 years. Before all this happened, I had been planning to gain admission into PVAMU Nursing spring 15', I don't have a clue or understand the process regarding a declaratory order,what it actually is or how to plead my case to the BON. Do I have to explain my case to PVAMU AND the BON? I'm just really lost and upset, I have never been in trouble with the law in my life! Does anyone know of a situation like this? Can someone help me out on this? serious answers only please!!
