  1. Hi, my name is Sarah and I am preparing to apply to Rutgers ABSN-Newark for Fall 2015. Reading many posts at allnurses.com is very helpful. I regret not visiting this site earlier! I would like to know where I can take interpersonal communication pre-requisite course. I've looked into all community colleges and university nearby and none of them offer that course. At Rutgers NB, this course is offered; however, two courses are required for interpersonal communication. This is very frustrating! If anyone has taken this course, please let me know!!! Sarah
  2. I also have the same question. I am thinking about applying for Fall 2015 because I still have t)hree more pre-requisites to take, one of them being interpersonal communication. I did some research last night and found out that there are two pre-reqs to take interpersonal communication (Intro to Comm and Comm theory. This was such a surprise to me though. The only option is to take Human Interactive Processes; its pre-req is intro to sociology. However, Human Interactive is part of nursing school curriculum. So I am going to contact the school office to find out if I can take that course this fall. I've also taken many counseling classes in grad program which I did not finish but will find out if any of those courses can be counted towards this communication course. if you have any other information, feel free to share with me!
