  1. Thank you HouTx - the program I have been accepted into does have a practicum. The program itself is great. I just can't decide if I want to go that route or FNP as that I have been accepted into both programs and need to make a choice asap. Thanks for your input.
  2. Hi everyone!! I am so unbelievably torn between which way to go!!!! I have always been kind of on the fence between which career path to pursue. The patient care of the FNP is so interesting to me but the leadership/management attracts me too! I was all set to go with an FNP program and then my school launched a new MSN- Nurse and Health Systems in Executive Management program that is mostly on-line and I can finish in 1 year! I switched over to that program and I'm suppose to start this Fall. I am now having second thoughts. I'm worried I jumped the gun and made the wrong decision. Can anyone share with me the pros and cons of pursuing the Management/Leadership career path and their experience? I also have 3 small kids work part-time currently. These two pathways are obviously completely different. I am just so confused. ANY advice would be appreciated!! Thank you!!
  3. HI there... I am considering GCU for my RN-BSN. I took a math statistics class at a local CC many, many years ago. Do you know if there is a time requirement? Meaning do I have to have taken the class within the past 5 years or something like that? If I have to retake it because it isn't a healthcare stats class then so be it... but would sure be great if I didn't have to! Also, I would LOVE to hear from RN to BSN grads what the program ended up costing them in the end.
  4. Hi Everyone! I am an RN in CA and I have been researching which online RN to BSN program to go with. I am so frustrated! There is so much to research and I feel like I am going around in circles. Any and all advice welcome please! I too am concerned with cost and also a program being approved in CA but, if I'm already licensed in CA with my RN/ADN, why does it matter if a BSN program is "approved" by CA? It's not like I need to sit for the NCLEX again.
