So I've got into California state university of long beach as a pre-nursing student. I've reseached a lot about this school and I just feel discouraged with all the statistics 80/500. also adding onto the competitveness of getting accepted to the program, after 2 years of taking prerequisites, it takes 3 years to receive a bsn. So all adds up to 5 years or more, which means more money. Is this worth it? I'll need to be studying in competition with other students for 2 years, may not get into program right after, and then even though I get in I'll have another 3 years ahead of me. I've worked hard to in high school, getting into top UCs. I feel so down seeing that all the work I put in was to get into the program that requires me 3.8 > (science,ge) 90%>(teas test) just to get into the program, and 5 years minimum to graduate. I just want to know if it just worth the effort. Please advise me. Thanks.
